An unknown man was reportedly spotted in Bengaluru. He was allegedly armed with a pistol and forcibly entered the property of Geometry Brewery as per the police statement. Senior police officers informed that, the accused entered the pub in the early hours of today, between 3:30 and 4 AM.

As per the statement, no harm to life was inflicted. However, he did steal Rs 50,000 in cash after disabling the CCTV surveillance systems installed. The police was alerted by the security gaurd after they “launched a drone-assisted search but the suspect escaped.”

While Subramanyanagar remains on alert, the police revealed that the investigation is underway. As per the security gaurd, he was “shown the weapon” which what he claimed looked like a pistol. The Malleswaram area has been cordoned off as a Quick Response Team (QRT) made its way to the site.

The Deputy Commissioner on duty revealed that a probe will be launched shortly after confirming that the perpetrator has escaped the premises. Opened in 2023, the Geometry Brewery and Kitchen, the establishment is just couple of years old. The incident occurs just a few days after the ceasefire violation following Operation Sindoor. While the nationwide civil defence mock-drills are no longer a mandate, states like Jammu observed blackouts during drone sightings in the Indian airspace.
