An arrest warrant has been issued against former Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa over allegations of fraud involving Rs 23 lakh in Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) contributions. The warrant, issued by Provident Fund Commissioner Shadakshari Gopal Reddy, accuses Uthappa of failing to deposit funds deducted from employees’ salaries during his tenure as manager of Century Lifestyle Brand Private Limited.

Pulakeshinagar police in Karnataka were directed to execute the warrant, but officials reported Uthappa was not found at his residence. The case focuses on his alleged role in the misappropriation of EPF funds. The warrant, initially executed on December 4, remains unfulfilled as investigations continue.
