A day after BJP launched its ‘Selfie with Modi’ campaign in Delhi, Union Minister Ananth Kumar said now anyone can have a selfie with the Prime Minister for free whereas, he claimed, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) charges people for clicking a picture with its chief Arvind Kejriwal.

BJP chief Amit Shah had kick-started the ‘Selfie with Modi’ campaign by inaugurating a selfie booth at Central Delhi’s Khan Market.

BJP will set up around 2,500 such booths across the city where people will be able to click their photos with a “virtual Narendra Modi”.
“It is an outstanding step by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Now anyone can have a selfie with our Prime Minister for free. I have heard they (AAP) charge for a selfie,” the Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers told reporters at the Delhi BJP office here.

The Aam Aadmi Party has raised Rs 60 lakh donation at a fund-raiser lunch of Arvind Kejriwal organised by its traders’ wing earlier this month. The traders had paid a minimum of Rs 20,000 each to have lunch with Kejriwal and a selfie.

“There is no need to find our PM. He is available for free. He himself is going to reach out to the the voters,” Kumar said.
