Tata Sierra 2025 India Launch LIVE Updates: The legendary Sierra is returning to the Indian market, and Tata Motors’ passenger vehicle arm is gearing up to compete head-on with established names from both Indian and global manufacturers. Positioned to rival popular midsize SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, the all-new Sierra blends emotional nostalgia with modern-day engineering and advanced technology. The SUV is being unveiled today, initially in internal combustion engine (ICE) formats, while an electric version based on Tata’s dedicated acti.ev architecture is set to arrive later.

About Tata Sierra 2025:

Designed as a premium lifestyle SUV, the new Sierra pays homage to the original silhouette from the 1990s, retaining its upright stance and the signature Alpine-style glass section at the rear. The blacked-out C-pillar, full-width LED lighting elements, and flush-fit door handles deliver a sleek contemporary personality. Step inside, and the cabin features a high-tech triple-display layout, a 12-speaker JBL audio system paired with an integrated soundbar, along with premium amenities such as dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera and Level-2 ADAS capability.

Tata Sierra 2025 engine:

Powering the new Sierra will be Tata’s latest 1.5-litre TGDi turbo-petrol engine, expected to produce approximately 170 PS. A diesel engine—anticipated to be a 1.5-litre unit—will also be offered. Both manual and automatic gearbox options will be available from launch.
