What is the TOT-12 Lalitpur – Lakhnadon NH44 Project?
The TOT-12 project includes tolling and operation and maintenance (O&M) activities on a 316 km long stretch on the north-south corridor of NH44. It may be noted that the trust has recently emerged as the preferred choice for the Toll-Operate-Transfer (TOT) model.
The project, spanning 316 kilometers (1,264 Lane Kms) from Lalitpur to Lakhnadon, stands as the largest major highway link connecting Srinagar in the North to Kanyakumari in the South.
Covering major cities and routes
This project encompasses key cities in Madhya Pradesh, including Lalitpur, Gwalior, Sagar, Narsinghpur, and Lakhnadon. The route features four Toll Plazas situated at Malthone, Chitora, Titarpani, and Bakori.
With upcoming developments such as the Hyderabad-Nagpur Industrial Corridor, Hyderabad-Bangalore Industrial Corridor, Hyderabad Warangal Industrial Corridor, the Multi-Modal Logistics Park at Nagpur, and the flourishing states along NH44 like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, and Karnataka, this stretch anticipates a significant increase in traffic visibility for NH 44.
