To accommodate the increased demand during the festive season, Western Railway has introduced an additional special train service between Udhna and Gorakhpur. According to Shri Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, this special service is being launched to manage the extra rush and ensure a comfortable journey for passengers during the holiday period.
Train Schedule and Details
The special service, numbered 09029/09030, will run as follows:
- Train No. 09029: Departing from Udhna at 11:20 PM on October 27, 2024, this train will reach Gorakhpur by 4:00 AM on October 29, 2024.
- Return Service, Train No. 09030: Departing Gorakhpur at 7:00 AM on October 29, it will arrive back at Udhna by 1:00 PM the following day, October 30.
Stops Enroute: The train will halt at key stations, including Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Ujjain, Kanpur Central, and Lucknow, among others, to cater to a broad range of passengers along the route.
Coach Composition: The train will feature various classes, including AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, Sleeper Class, and General Second-Class coaches, ensuring a range of travel options for passengers.
Passengers are advised to book their tickets early due to expected high demand. This special service is part of Western Railway’s ongoing efforts to enhance travel convenience during peak festive seasons.
