Total Number of Bullet Train stations and their Current Development
It is worth noting that the Bullet Train stations in Gujarat are evolving rapidly. The Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project features 12 planned stations along its route: Mumbai, Thane, Virar, and Boisar in Maharashtra; Vapi, Bilimora, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Ahmedabad, and Sabarmati in Gujarat.
Foundation work for eight stations in Gujarat is now complete. The rail-level slabs for other 5 stations (Bilimora, Surat, Anand, Bharuch, and Ahmedabad) have been finalized, with superstructure construction progressing rapidly.
Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train: How many viaducts completed?
As of September 30, the completed viaduct includes bridges over 11 rivers, such as the Par (Valsad district), Purna (Navsari district), and Ambika (Navsari district), among others. Additionally, four steel bridges, measuring 70, 100, 130, and 100 meters, have been completed in Surat, Anand, Vadodara, and Silvassa (Dadra & Nagar Haveli), respectively.
