Union Minister Anurag Thakur inaugurated the ‘Aastha Special Train’ from Andaura to Ayodhya Dham in the early hours of Monday (February 5), marking a significant milestone for devotees of Lord Ram.
Departing from Himachal Pradesh’s revered Devbhoomi, the train carries groups of Ram devotees to Ayodhya Dham, fulfilling a long-awaited dream now that the Ram Mandir stands proudly constructed.
Speaking on the occasion, Thakur expressed his joy as the train embarked on its journey from the Amb Andaura Railway Station in Una district, part of the Hamirpur Lok Sabha constituency.
“The dream for years has come true as the Ram Mandir has now been constructed. The first train from the Devbhoomi of Himachal Pradesh to Ayodhya Dham has left with groups of Ram devotees,” Thakur said.

The route traverses from Una to Anantpur Sahab, then to Ambala, ultimately reaching Ayodhya Dham, where devotees will have the opportunity to pay homage to Lord Ram Lalla.
Moreover, Thakur extended gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for the historic Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, hailing it as a monumental victory for devotees and the nation, fostering a sense of communal harmony and brotherhood. Reflecting on Prime Minister Modi’s 11-day penance preceding the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, Thakur highlighted the spiritual significance of the event.
This follows PM Modi’s earlier inaugurations in December, including the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport and the Ayodhya Railway Station, further solidifying the city’s status as a center of cultural and religious importance.
