The Ministry of Railways recently shared a captivating video on Twitter showcasing the scenic beauty of the Ranchi-Varanasi Vande Bharat Express as it gracefully traversed through a picturesque landscape. 

The tweet accompanied a mesmerising visual of the train moving amidst fields adorned with golden hues, creating a breathtaking contrast with its vibrant orange coaches of the semi-high-speed train. 

“Take a look at the Ranchi-Varanasi #VandeBharatExpress traversing along the luscious field of golden hues, creating a striking accord with its orange streak,” The Ministry of Railways said in the caption of the video.

Ranchi-Varanasi Vande Bharat Express timings 

According to Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Ranchi, Nishant Kumar, the regular service of the Ranchi-Varanasi Vande Bharat Express commenced on March 18. The train will depart from Ranchi railway station at 5:10 am and arrive at Varanasi at 1:00 pm. On its return journey, it will leave Varanasi at 4:05 pm and reach Ranchi at 11:55 pm.

The train will make stops at six major stations including Muri, Bokaro Steel City, Koderma, Gaya, Sasaram, and Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction.

The train will operate six days a week, excluding Thursdays, and will cover a distance of 571 km in a travel time of 7 hours and 50 minutes.

The fare for the Executive AC Chair Car between Ranchi and Varanasi will be Rs 2,325, while for the AC Chair Car, it will be Rs 1,160, excluding a meal.
