To enhance travel convenience, the Western Railway has announced that the Valsad-Bhagat Ki Kothi and Bandra Terminus-Barmer trains will be converted into superfast services, with changes in their train numbers. The modifications aim to improve passenger services and are set to take effect from January 2025.

Details of Train Number Changes

According to a press release by Shri Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the following updates will apply:

  • Bandra Terminus-Barmer Humsafar Express (Weekly)
    • Train No. 19009 Bandra Terminus-Barmer Humsafar Express will run as Train No. 21901 starting from January 3, 2025.
    • Train No. 19010 Barmer-Bandra Terminus Humsafar Express will operate as Train No. 21902 beginning January 4, 2025.
  • Valsad-Bhagat Ki Kothi Express (Weekly)
    • Train No. 19055 Valsad-Bhagat Ki Kothi Express will be renumbered as Train No. 22991 from January 7, 2025.
    • Train No. 19056 Bhagat Ki Kothi-Valsad Express will run as Train No. 22992 starting January 8, 2025.

The conversion to superfast trains is part of Western Railway’s efforts to provide faster and more efficient services. Passengers on these routes can look forward to reduced travel times and enhanced convenience.
