East Central Railway has announced the restoration of two special trains that were previously cancelled due to non-interlocking work at Kazipet Junction in the South Central Railway zone. The decision comes as a relief to passengers who were affected by the earlier disruptions.
Affected Trains
- Train No. 03325 Dhanbad – Coimbatore Special: This train, which departs from Dhanbad at 10:10 hrs, will now run on its regular schedule on 11th, 18th, 25th September, and 2nd October 2024. The cancellation previously notified has been withdrawn.
- Train No. 03326 Coimbatore – Dhanbad Special: This service, leaving Coimbatore at 12:55 hrs, will also resume its normal operations on 14th, 21st, 28th September, and 5th October 2024. The earlier notification of its cancellation has been revoked.
The restoration of these trains is expected to ease travel for passengers who rely on these routes. The trains will now operate as originally scheduled, ensuring that the disruptions caused by the non-interlocking work at Kazipet Junction are resolved.
