The Argentine government announced on Wednesday that Indian citizens with valid tourist visas for the United States can now enter Argentina without obtaining a separate Argentine visa.
Making the announcement on X, the Argentine Ambassador to India, Mariano Caucino, said the country is ready to host more Indian tourists. “Argentina eases entry to Indian citizens holding a US visa. This is wonderful news for both Argentina and India. We’re ready to welcome more Indian tourists into our wonderful country,” he posted.
The move is being seen as part of Argentina’s broader push to strengthen bilateral relations with India and attract international travellers. “The resolution published in the Official Gazette allows Indian citizens with tourist visas to enter the United States without needing to apply for an Argentine visa,” Caucino wrote.
