The fee for applying for a visa has been raised by US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for all visa categories, including H-1B. Non-immigrant visas such as the H-1B permit US employers to hire foreign nationals for specialized jobs requiring advanced technical or theoretical training.
Tomorrow is the last date to save on the filing fee for Form I-907 charged by the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for all eligible forms and categories. The filing fee for Form I-907 used as ‘Request for Premium Processing’ is being increased starting February 26, 2024.
The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has published a final regulation increasing the premium processing fees charged by USCIS for all eligible forms and categories. The fee increase will go into effect on February 26, 2024. If USCIS receives a Form I-907 postmarked on or after February 26, 2024, with the wrong filing fee, it will reject the form and return the filing money.
Form I-907 is used to seek accelerated processing of eligible forms, often known as premium processing or faster processing. Form I-907 is a request form for Premium Processing of Form I-129, Form I-140, Form I-765, and Form I-539.
Requesting this service incurs a cost. If you request premium processing, USCIS assures that they will take adjudicative action on the case within the time frames, or they will refund the premium processing money.
The modification raises certain premium processing fees from USD 1500 to USD 1685, USD 1750 to USD 1965, and USD 2500 to USD 2805. You must pay the Form I-907 fee separately from other filing fees. If you pay a single, combined fee for several forms, USCIS will reject them for incorrect payment.

The nonimmigrant academic student (F-1) classification allows a noncitizen to enter the United States as a full-time student at a college or university.
