Canada has sent invitations to foreigners to apply for permanent residency in the country. The invitations to apply are a part of the Express Entry Draws held by the Canadian government every two weeks.
On March 3, 2025, Canada announced Express Entry Draw results for foreign nationals seeking permanent residence through Provincial Nominee Program, and Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) sent invitations to selected foreigners.
The latest Express Entry draw numbered 338 under the Provincial Nominee Program was held on March 3, 2025, with 725 invitations sent to foreigners to apply for Canada permanent residency. The rank required to be invited to apply was set at 667 or above.
The date and time of the round was March 03, 2025 at 15:15:56 UTC while the Tie-breaking rule was June 05, 2024 at 18:25:22 UTC.
The previous draw under the Provincial Nominee Program was conducted on February 17, 2025 when 646 Express Entry invitations were issued to eligible foreign nationals with the CRS score of 750.
If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
Foreign nationals can apply for Canadian Permanent Resident status through the Provincial Nominee Program, enabling them to reside, live, and work in a specific province or territory.
Canada Express Entry is a program for skilled immigrants seeking permanent residency in Canada administered by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) through a variety of programs including the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and Provincial Nominee Program.
The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) is designed to attract workers with the necessary skills, education, and job experience to contribute to the economy of a certain province or territory while becoming permanent residents of Canada. Each province and territory has its own immigration policy that targets different groups, including students, business owners, skilled workers, and semi-skilled workers.
The Canadian government employs the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) to rank candidates based on age, education, work experience, and language ability, with each Express Entry draw’s cut-off score influencing the overall score, even if the lowest-ranked applicant receives an ITA for permanent residence.

The numbers in this table reflect the total number of people in the pool a few days before an invitation round. The score distribution may change as people submit new profiles and other profiles expire. The table numbers not in bold are a detailed breakdown of the bold number immediately above.
