It stands as the third fertiliser plant revival in India, following similar initiatives in Gorakhpur and Ramagundam.
Rail Infrastructure Advancements in Jharkhand
PM Modi initiated several rail projects surpassing Rs 17,600 crore, including crucial connections like Sone Nagar to Andal and Tori-Shivpur lines. These projects aim to expand rail services, fostering socio-economic development in the region.
Power Sector Milestones in Jharkhand
The Prime Minister dedicated Unit 1 (660 MW) of the North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project (STPP), Chatra, developed at a cost exceeding Rs 7,500 crore. This endeavor promises enhanced power supply, employment opportunities, and socio economic growth in the state.
PM Modi also inaugurated pivotal coal sector projects, reinforcing Jharkhand‘s position in the energy landscape. For the unversed, the Prime Minister is on a comprehensive two-day visit to Jharkhand and West Bengal for the states’ holistic development and inclusive growth.
