Delhi Metro services on the Blue Line are experiencing delays due to a cable theft between Moti Nagar and Kirti Nagar stations on Thursday (December 5).

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) stated that the issue will be resolved after operational hours tonight. In the meantime, trains will run at reduced speeds on the affected section, causing minor delays throughout the day.

“There is a delay in services on the Blue Line due to a cable theft between Moti Nagar and Kirti Nagar. The inconvenience is regretted,” DMRC said in a post on X.

The DMRC has apologised for the inconvenience and assured that repairs will be completed as quickly as possible. Passengers were requested to plan their journeys accordingly as the journey would take additional time.
