Janakpuri West-RK Ashram Marg stretch likely to open soon

The Delhi Metro is gearing up to launch the inaugural section of its Phase 4 project in August, aiming to enhance commuter convenience and connectivity. This initial three-kilometer stretch, spanning from Janakpuri West to RK Ashram Marg, will feature two new stations. Recent media reports have confirmed the completion of construction works for this segment, with final safety certifications and inspections underway prior to the corridor’s operational commencement.

According to statements attributed to DMRC spokesperson Anuj Dayal in various media outlets, this new section forms a part of the broader 28.9 km Phase-4 project. Progress is rapidly advancing on the entirety of the Janakpuri West to Krishna Park Extension corridor, with authorities intensifying efforts towards finalizing works and ensuring safety protocols.
