Ventive Hospitality, a luxury hotels and resorts chain, has partnered with Marriott International by signing management contracts for seven luxury and upscale hotels, totalling 1,548 rooms across India and Sri Lanka.
Of the seven hotels, three are being developed by Ventive Hospitality and its subsidiaries: the Ritz-Carlton Reserve (which will feature 73 villas and 80 branded residences for sale) at Pottuvil in Sri Lanka, the Varanasi Marriott Hotel (161 rooms) in Varanasi, and the Courtyard by Marriott (200 rooms) in Mundra.
The remaining four hotels—the proposed JW Marriott Navi Mumbai (450 rooms), Moxy Navi Mumbai (200 rooms), Moxy Pune Wakad (264 rooms), and Moxy Pune Kharadi (200 rooms)—are being developed by promoter group companies under a Right of First Offer (ROFO) for Ventive Hospitality. These hotels will be transferred to the company under arrangements that maximise equitable value for all stakeholders, the company said.
Atul Chordia, chairman and executive director of Ventive Hospitality, said that they will start FY26 on a strong note, especially as it will be their first full financial year post-listing. The company is also expanding its presence beyond Pune, Bengaluru, and Maldives, making brand debuts in Sri Lanka, Varanasi, Mundra and Navi Mumbai.
Ventive Hospitality, jointly promoted by Panchshil Realty and the Blackstone Group, was listed in December 2024. The proposed JW Marriott Navi Mumbai (450 rooms) is set to be the first luxury hotel project in Navi Mumbai, located near the new Navi Mumbai International Airport.
Ventive Hospitality is an owner, developer, and asset manager of luxury and upper upscale hotels in India and the Maldives, currently operating 11 hospitality assets with a total of 2,036 rooms, managed by Marriott, Hilton, Minor, and Atmosphere.
