ITC Hotels Group has announced plans to expand its presence in Uttarakhand by introducing a 55-key property under the brand STORII Rishikesh.
The property will be ready to operate by 2026, foreseeing the increased demand of local and international visitors for wellness and immersive guest experiences.
Anil Chadha, Chief Executive, ITC Hotels, said that Rishikesh has emerged as a favourite destination for travellers as it provides them all, from adventure sports and moments of calm to hosting intimate gatherings.
Piyush Aggarwal, Director of Alokik Ganga, pointed out that a notable surge has been seen in visitors to Rishikesh over the last few years, and the property will cater to their varied requirements.
Located on the hillside, just an hour’s drive from Rishikesh, the hotel promises an amazing river view from the exotic elevated mountain locations. The brand is known to provide boutique properties in the premium segment. The plan will feature comfortable and spacious rooms including special suites with private pools attached.
ITC’s Hotel Group has nine operating properties and a pipeline of four across its various brands in Uttarakhand. STORII Rishikesh comes under the brand’s Pan India expansion project and plans to offer luxury dining facilities and various amenities, giving a peaceful escape from urban life.
