Bose Corporation has put in another $20 million in audio wearables brand Noise. This is the second time Bose has backed the Gurugram-based company, remaining its only external investor. The American audio giant had previously made a strategic investment of $10 million in the company in 2023.
The latest investment keeps Noise valued at about $470 million, slightly up from its previous $460 million valuation, according to sources.
Noise will use the money for operations, growth, marketing, and working capital. The funding follows their recent launch of products featuring “Sound by Bose” technology.
The company reported Rs 1,431 crore revenue with positive EBITDA for FY24. For comparison, competitor brand boAt posted Rs 3,122 crore revenue with a 45% reduction in losses to Rs 53.5 crore in the same period.
“This isn’t just about funding—it’s about building value and experiences for the next generation of consumers,” said Amit Khatri, co-founder of Noise, in a post on LinkedIn announcing the funding.
