Business process management (BPM) solutions provider WNS (Holdings) Limited on Thursday inaugurated a new delivery centre in Hyderabad. Spread across 60,000 sqft, the facility has a seating capacity of 500.
As a part of WNS’ global delivery network, the centre will focus on building and delivering industry-led digital solutions across sectors like shipping and logistics, healthcare, banking and financial services and insurance.
WNS Group CEO Keshav R Murugesh said, “This move showcases our commitment to delivering exceptional services, leveraging Hyderabad’s skilled workforce and vibrant culture of innovation. The expansion allows WNS to enhance our tailored solutions, providing clients with the optimal mix of services, talent, location, and technology.”
Meanwhile, AstraZeneca India Private Limited, the Global Capability Centre of drug maker AstraZeneca, has announced its plan to expand the scope of its Global Innovation and Technology Centre (GITC) in Chennai, including growing headcount by about 30 percent across information technology, software and business services over next two years.
GITC Chennai, whose journey began with offering IT support services, has evolved into a capability centre fuelling AstraZeneca’s Growth-Through-Innovation strategy. The expansion of its scope will enable the hub to establish new-age solutions to benefit patients around the world, said the company in a statement.
