TVS Motor Company Ltd on Thursday released its fiscal first quarter earnings report with consolidated profit at Rs 610.04 crore, posting a growth of 32.36 per cent. The company had recorded a profit of Rs 460.88 crore during the first quarter of FY25. It posted revenue from operations at Rs 12,210.05 crore, up 18.38 per cent as against Rs 10,314.47 crore recorded during the corresponding quarter of previous financial year. 

On a standalone basis, TVS Motor Company posted revenue growth of 20 per cent to Rs. 10,081 crore as against Rs 8,376 crore in the quarter ended June 2024. The company posted operating EBITDA of Rs 1,263 crore with a growth of 32 per cent YoYfor the first quarter of FY26. The operating EBITDA margin improved by 100bps to 12.5 per cent during the quarter ended June 2025.

TVS Motor Company recorded a standalone profit growth of 35 per cent at Rs 779 crore as against Rs 577 crore during first quarter of 2024-25.

TVS Motor Q1: Sales update

During the first quarter of FY26, the company said, it registered the highest ever quarterly sales. The overall two-wheeler and three-wheeler sales including exports went up by 17 per cent, registering sales of 12.77 lakh units in Q1 as against 10.87 lakh units registered in the quarter ended June 2024. 

Motorcycle sales grew by 21 per cent registering 6.21 lakh units in the quarter under review as against 5.14 lakh units in the quarter ended June 2024. 

Scooter sales for the Q1 grew by 19 per cent at 4.99 lakh units as against 4.18 lakh units in the first quarter of FY25. 

Three-wheeler sales for the quarter rose by 46 per cent at 0.45 lakh units as against 0.31 lakh units during first quarter of 2024-25. 

Electric Scooter sales for the quarter grew by 35 per cent at 0.70 lakh units as against 0.52 lakh units in the same quarter of previous financial year. 

TVS Motor Q1: Fundraising

The company board of Directors at its meeting also approved the proposal of raising funds up to a sum of Rs 500 cr by way of issuance of Non-Convertible Debentures on a private placement basis in one or more tranches/ series, over a period of time.
