Tribeca Developers, the exclusive licensee of Trump Organization-branded luxury properties in the country, is in advanced talks with landlords/developers for developing Trump Towers in Bengaluru, Chandigarh and Ahmedabad among others.
Currently, Tribeca is looking to launch Trump branded towers in four cities by second quarter of FY26, said Kalpesh Mehta, founder of Tribeca Developers. The cities where it is looking to launch Trump Branded properties include Mumbai, Pune, Gurugram and Hyderabad.
Despite the buzz about US elections and Trump contesting in it, he said the company is diligent about not making any political reference in the projects, he added. The Trump Organization is an American conglomerate owned by US presidential candidate Donald Trump. The Trump Organization entities own and operate hotels, resorts, residential towers and so on. Tribeca is looking at gross development value (GDV) of about Rs 3,500 crore from these projects and investments for these projects come to about Rs 1,750 crore, he said.
Tribeca had earlier licensed the Trump brand to the Lodha Group for a project in the Worli area of Mumbai and to Panchshil Realty for a project in Pune. Tribeca charges 14 to 15 % as development management fee to builders including brand fee to Trump Organization. Two of its Trump Towers are ready for delivery in Gurugram and Kolkata by the end of the year.
As a firm, Tribeca is looking at a GDV of Rs 7,000 crore, half of which would come from non-Trump projects. And the company is looking to raise Rs 1,200 crore to Rs 1,500 crore , he said. Tribeca also said on Wednesday that its JV project with Tejukaya group in Mumbai’s Parel locality has seen sales of Rs 1,000 crore within 30 days of the launch.
