Tata Trusts board is set to meet on November 11, where it is expected to take note of former trustee Mehli Mistry’s letter that sought to part ways and “put an end quietus to speculative media reports”.
It is also expected to discuss names of candidates to replace Mistry whose term came to an end on October 28 when three trustees, including Noel Tata, voted against the resolution for his reappointment.
Tata Trusts, which comes under the Maharashtra Public Trusts Act, 1950, also has to intimate the Charity Commissioner about the removal of Mistry through a “change report”.
