To encourage drivers to switch to new CNG vehicles, online taxi-hailing app Ola has launched ‘Ola Green Pragati Week’ starting August 26. The company has tied up with Maruti, Hyundai and Tata in the national capital to offer CNG cabs to drivers at discounted on-road prices. Moreover, Ola drivers wouldn’t have to make any down payment on exchange of  diesel cars for new CNG cars.

“We are committed to CNG adoption in the state of Delhi. The intention behind coming up with this scheme is to create a valuable opportunity for all those drivers who are planning to buy new cars or willing to exchange their old cars to consider buying a CNG vehicle and contribute to a clean and green Delhi. For drivers who already own a diesel vehicle, this initiative will significantly reduce the financial burden on them with discounts, zero commission and an EMI moratorium for 2 months,” said Deep Singh, Business Head – North, Ola.
