The IT sector so far has reported a mixed set of Q1 results. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) reported a consolidated net profit at Rs 12,760 crore, a 9 per cent rise year-on-year, a 10% fall in its Q1FY26 consolidated net profit at Rs 3,843 crore on a YoY basis. However, Wipro’s quarterly performance stood in contrast to rivals TCS and HCLTech. It has reported a 10 per cent year on year growth in its net profit at Rs ₹3,336 crore.

Infosys Q4FY5 Results, Earnings: A recap

In the previous quarter (Q4 FY25), Infosys reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 7,030 crore for the fourth quarter of FY25, marking a 3.3 per cent increase from Rs 6,806 crore recorded in the previous quarter (Q3FY25). However, on a year-on-year basis, the company saw a 12 per cent decline in net profit compared to Rs 7,969 crore in Q4FY24.

The company’s revenue for Q4FY25 stood at Rs 40,925 crore, reflecting a 2 per cent quarter-on-quarter decline from Rs 41,764 crore in Q3FY25. On a year-on-year basis, revenue rose 8 per cent from Rs 37,923 crore in the same period last year.

Despite the drop in quarterly revenue, the company showed sequential growth in profitability. As part of its shareholder returns, Infosys’ board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 22 per share for the financial year FY25.
