India’s business services company, CMS Info Systems has appointed Puneet Bhirani as the new President of Operations, a role aimed at streamlining service delivery and operations across its business lines.

Rajiv Kaul, Executive Vice Chairman, Whole Time Director, and CEO of CMS Info Systems, on his joining said, “With extensive expertise in business operations across various sectors and a history of leading large-scale projects, I am pleased to have Puneet join the CMS Leadership Team to drive the continued growth of our logistics and technology business platform.”

The company provides logistics and technology solutions to banks, financial institutions, organised retail, and e-commerce companies with a presence across Cash Logistics, Managed Services, and Technology Solutions.

Puneet Bhirani has over 26 years of cross-cultural leadership experience in the markets of India, the UK, and the US. His tenure at Mphasis spanned over 18 years, where he held roles in sales, operations, and global shared services, also serving as a member of the Executive Council.

He has also served as the CEO of its subsidiary, Digital Risk, USA. Following Mphasis, Puneet later worked as the CEO of OLA Fleet, and then as the COO of OLA Cabs, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the Ola Electric Gigafactory. 

Before joining CMS INFO, he also served as the COO of Byju’s, overseeing the expansion of the hybrid learning business across 300+ new centres and leading operational transformation efforts in sales, logistics, and end-user experience. Puneet has an engineering degree from Punjab Engineering College, a master’s in marketing from S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, and an Advanced Management Program from Wharton Business School.
