Medwell Ventures, a Bengaluru-based startup catering to specialty home healthcare services in India, has raised $10 million in Series A funding from Fidelity Growth Partners India (FGPI). The company, which started last year, had earlier raised $3 million in seed funding.

It had also acquired Nightingales Home Health Services.

“Our business model is people-centric and subscription-based. This model will mature over the next couple of years. We are looking at 10 metro clusters with a plan to deploy $50 million over the next 5 years,” Vishal Bali, co-founder and chairman, Medwell Ventures, said.
