Central Depository Services Limited (CDSL) reported a 13.6 per cent profit decline in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2025-26. The company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 139.93 crore in Q2 FY26. Last fiscal year, the company’s consolidated net profit was Rs 161.95 crore. 

Furthermore, CSDL’s consolidated revenue from operations also declined by 1.05 per cent in the quarter. The depository’s consolidated revenue from operations in Q2 FY26 came down to Rs 318.88 crore, compared with Rs 322.26 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal year. 

The company said that during Q2 FY26 , over 65 lakh new demat accounts were opened, taking the total tally to over 16.51crore.
