Under the contract, CIM Tools will supply over 57,000 complex titanium machined parts, aluminum details and assemblies for Boeing 787 and 737 airplanes in coming years, the company said in a statement.
The new agreement was reached through close collaboration between Boeing and CIM Tools.CIM Tools is one of the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in India, which Boeing is directly working with.

“This is yet another step in fulfilling our commitment in the creation of a globally competitive aerospace supply chain in India that delivers to stringent global standards,” he said.
Boeing has been expanding its collaboration with Indian industrial partners. Boeing in India has around 500 employees and more than 3,500 people work on dedicated Boeing supply-chain jobs with its 30 direct suppliers across manufacturing, engineering and IT sectors.
CIM Tools Private, which has been focusing on aerospace component manufacturing, has acquired 4-acres of land at Special Economic Zone near Bengaluru Airport. It is building a new manufacturing facility spread over 150,000 square feet of area to meet Boeing’s requirements, which will be ready later this month, the statement said.
