BEML reported a 5.8 per cent YoY profit decline in the second quarter of fiscal year 2025-26. The state-owned company reported a consolidated net profit of  Rs 48.03 crore in the Q2 FY26. The company had posted a consolidated profit of Rs 51.03 crore in Q2 FY25

Further, BEML reported a 2.42 per cent revenue decline in the quarter. The company reported a consolidated revenue of Rs 839 crore in Q2 FY26, compared to Rs 859 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. 

Key highlights

The company said its order book position stood at Rs 16,342 crore, of which it executed orders worth Rs 794 crore during Q2FY26. It expects to execute orders worth Rs 4,217 crore in the current financial year and Rs 12,125 crore in subsequent years.

BEML serves core sectors like defence, rail and mining. It operates under three major verticals defence and aerospace, mining and construction and rail and metro.
