BEML reported a loss of Rs 70.2 crore in the first quarter of FY26. The company’s losses narrowed by 6.7 per cent YoY in Q1 FY26, as the company reported losses of Rs 75.3 crore in Q1FY25.
BEML reported stagnant revenue growth in the quarter. The public sector company reported a revenue of Rs 633.9 crore in Q1 FY26 against a revenue of Rs 634 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
BEML bags big orders
On Monday, BEML received an order worth Rs 1,888 crore from Integral Coach Factory. The company has received the order for manufacturing, testing, supply, and commissioning of fully functional LHB coaches.
Earlier, last week, the company received another order from Malaysia for retrofit and reconditioning of the Mass Rapid Transport System. The order is valued at $1 million or Rs 8.76 crore.
