Bajaj Auto reported a 13.84 per cent YoY profit growth in the first quarter of the financial year 2026. The company posted a profit of Rs 2,210.44 crore in Q1 FY26. In the corresponding quarter of FY25, the automaker’s profit stood at Rs 1,941.79 crore.

Furthermore, Bajaj Auto registered a 9.42 per cent YoY revenue growth in the quarter. The company’s revenue in Q1 FY26 stood at Rs 12,646 crore against a revenue of Rs 11,557 crore in Q1FY25.

Bajaj Auto posted standalone EBITDA of Rs 2,482 crore in Q1 FY26. The company’s standalone EBITDA grew by a moderate 2.77 per cent YoY in the quarter, as it stood at Rs 2,415 crore in Q1FY25. 

Bajaj Auto’s EBITDA margin took a 50-basis-point hit in the quarter as it decreased from 20.2 per cent in Q1 FY25 to 19.7 per cent in Q1 FY26. 

Baja Auto Q1 results: Domestic sales slump 

Bajaj Auto’s domestic sales in both the two-wheelers and the commercial vehicle segment witnessed a fall in the quarter. The company’s domestic two-wheeler sales stood at 5,29,344 units, declining by 9 per cent YoY as it stood at 5,82,497 units in Q1FY25. 

Bajaj Auto’s commercial vehicles’ domestic sales also fell by 2 per cent in the quarter. The company posted a total of 1,05,464 unit CV sales in Q1 FY26 against sales of 1,08,124 units in Q1FY25. 

Bajaj Auto Q1 results: Exports to rescue 

While Bajaj Auto continues to struggle in the domestic market, its exports reach a historical high. The company’s total exports grew by 16 per cent YoY in the quarter. The two-wheeler exports grew by 14 per cent, 4,19,447 units, and CV exports grew by 32 per cent, 56,982 units, in Q1 FY26. 

The company’s total sales in Q1 FY26 stood at 11,11,237 units, up by just 1 per cent.
