1.The Job
What I love about my job is the kind of impact we are making by helping customers hire tutors, trainers, hobby classes and other professionals in their locality. The fact that we are able to make a difference in the lives of professionals every day, by providing them with a key source of income, keeps me motivated to work harder. On the flip side, building a company is very demanding and does take a toll on personal time.
2. The Weekdays
I start my day around 6am. After dropping the kids to school at 7am, I hit the gym or play badminton for an hour, which keeps me energised for the entire 12-13 hours at work. A typical day starts with calls, emails and a series of meetings with product, tech, marketing, sales and operations teams to figure out new challenges and innovative ways to solve them. A number of fun activities are organised by our ‘Fun Team’, to keep our employees engaged.
3. The Weekend
I get to spend some quality time with my kids on the weekends. Then, I catch up on work I have not finished over the weekdays.
4. The Toys
I love reading biographies of start-up founders on my Amazon Kindle.
5. The Logos
I love all Apple products. I am also a music lover and can’t do without my Bose audio systems.
