According to Cointelegraph, on February 29, 2024, Microsoft launched “Copilot for Finance” in a public preview. The new artificial intelligence-powered service is believed to include Microsoft 365 suite. It is believed the collaborative effort can provide generative AI and automation solutions to new and existing workflows.
With the newly launched “Copilot for Finance” version of the AI service, Microsoft plans to introduce end-to-end solutions curated for finance professionals, added Cointelegraph.
“Eighty percent of finance leaders and teams face challenges to take on more strategic work outside the operational portions of their roles. However, 62% of finance professionals say they are stuck in the drudgery of data entry and review cycles. Copilot for Finance can help free up time,” Microsoft explained.
The new product is expected to merge Microsoft’s other AI assistant offerings, copilot for sales and copilot for service. Meanwhile, the initial version of copilot is hot-patched into Windows 11 users’ taskbars by default, concluded Cointelegraph.
