India is commemorating its 75th Republic Day on January 26, 2024. To mark the historic occasion of the Constitution adoption, the national capital is all decked up to witness the regimental parades on the famous Kartvya path, featuring the participation of the Indian armed forces, police, and paramilitary forces.
French President Emmanuel Macron will be the Chief Guest for the 75th Republic Day celebrations in the national capital. Additionally, the French contingent is set to participate in the parade for the second time.

The live broadcast of the Republic Day Parade 2024 will be live streamed on the official YouTube channels of India’s public service broadcaster Doordarshan and All India Radio, starting from 09:30 am IST on January 26, 2024. Additionally, these channels will provide live sign language interpretation for the Republic Day commentary.

Gallantry medals for Bravehearts
1,132 personnel of police and fire among other services have been selected for Gallantry and service medals on this Republic Day. The Union Government on Thursday announced the selection of the personnel in police, fire service, home guard, civil defense and correctional service for gallantry and service medals on the occasion.
The 75th Republic Day parade at Kartavya Path will center around women, with ‘Viksit Bharat’ and ‘Bharat-Loktantra ki Matruka’ as the main thematic focuses.
