India’s inaugural ‘Silent Room’ Hackathon has been introduced by Envirya Projects Private Ltd, an innovator in strategic defence and anti-espionage security solutions.

Scheduled for October 22 in Gurugram, India, this event aims to spotlight the technological prowess of the ‘Silent Room’ and provide a platform for experts to demonstrate their skills.

The ‘Hackathon’ is set to draw participants from diverse backgrounds, including students from esteemed technology institutions, industry experts, and professionals. They will engage in a series of technical challenges designed to replicate original electromagnetic and acoustic signatures emanating from the Silent Room. These challenges will rigorously test the hacking abilities of industry experts while showcasing the transformative capabilities of this cutting-edge system.

For the successful development of the demo ‘Silent Room, Brig Bishwajeet Ghosh, SM, VSM, stated:”Envirya is dedicated to reshaping security, safety, and intelligence standards by advancing our proprietary product, the ‘Silent Room.'”

The Silent Room stands as a fully customizable solution suitable for new installations or retrofits in existing boardrooms, conference halls, and similar environments. Envirya maintains the capacity to manage 8-10 projects simultaneously, with pricing plans tailored to each client’s unique needs, available upon request. 

Envirya will select participating teams based on approach papers and invite the top shortlisted teams to partake in the comprehensive Hackathon event. To ensure fair competition, participants will receive complete access to the Silent Room, along with access to top-tier industry equipment.

The ‘Hackathon’ promises exciting prizes for all participants, with the winner set to receive a substantial award of Rs 30,000. The runner-up will be rewarded with Rs 10,000, and all participants will receive a prize of Rs 5,000.

According to an official company statement, the event has garnered attention even in its pre-launch phase, with several dignitaries from the armed forces and government planning to visit the Silent Room site.

To enhance the Hackathon’s prestige, Envirya has assembled a panel of globally renowned industry leaders, including Dr G Satheesh Reddy, SA to RM and former DRDO chairman; Sanjeev Kumar, CMD of TCIL; Lt. General Harpal Singh (Retired), Former E-n-C Indian Army; and Raghu Rayala, MD of RVR Projects Private Limited.
