Next month, embarking on the next frontier of India’s defence space capabilities, DefSat 2024 is set to unveil a strategic roadmap for future readiness.

The three-day event is scheduled to take place from Feb 7-9, 2024 at the Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi.

The agenda, spanning three days, offers insightful deliberations in comprehensive sessions on diverse defence space topics, including interactive exercises and industry roundtables for practical insights and collaborative discussions. This will bring together an unparalleled convergence of visionaries, thought-leaders and key stakeholders, from government agencies, armed forces, and policymakers to space industry leaders, technology innovators, and diplomats.

The IndSpace Exercise, a simulated, scenario-based, interactive tabletop wargame conducted in collaboration with esteemed Defence Think Tanks and DefSat knowledge partners CENJOWS, CAPS, CLAWS, and NMF is the second in a series of many such exercises to be unfolded periodically, that scrutinizes the space industry’s capability to respond to contingencies and crises.

With the active participation of the Services, MoD, ISRO, DRDO, INSPACe, NSIL, NDMA, Niti Aayog, Industry, Startups, and Academia, the conference aims to catalyze immediate actions and chart a strategic roadmap coordinated by clear policies, forward-looking planning, and an interdisciplinary approach. This initiative is dedicated to fostering a modern and future-ready sector, aligning with the vision set forth by the Prime Minister and the Defence Ministry, and safeguarding India’s aspirations and interests.
