French IT services giant Capgemini has sold a property in Thane near Mumbai for Rs 550 crore to Pune-based Panchshil Realty.
Capgemini Technology Services India sold the 15.38-acre land parcel consisting of five buildings to Prime Lohegaon Infraspaces, a subsidiary of Panchshil Realty, in Capgemini Knowledge Park, Thane, according to documents accessed through CRE Matrix, a data analytics firm.
How much stamp duty was paid by the firm?
Panchshil Realty paid a stamp duty of Rs 27.50 crore for the transaction. Emails sent to Capgemini and Panchshil Realty did not elicit any response.
Capgemini’s recent purchase
Capgemini recently bought outsourcing company WNS for $3.3 billion. The IT service company has offices in Bengaluru, Pune, and Mumbai, among others in the country.
Panchshil Realty had bought a property in Navi Mumbai for Rs 615 crore earlier this year. The company, along with Blackstone, listed Ventive Hospitality last year.
