New York Festivals has appointed Ramanuj Shastry, from Infectious Advertising, as a Grand Jury member for its 2024 Advertising Awards. The NYF awards recognise excellence in communications across various regions and provide comprehensive representation of the industry’s best work.

His award-winning work has earned him a trophy shelf of accolades, and his experience crafting campaigns for prestigious global brands truly makes him an asset in honoring trophy-worthy work,” Scott Rose, executive director, NYF Advertising Awards, said. 

Shastry, an alumnus (PRM-90-92) of IRMA (Institute of Rural Management, Anand), brings over 25 years of advertising experience. He gained expertise at Ogilvy and McCann before holding positions as CCO at Publicis Ambience, Rediffusion Y&R, and Saatchi & Saatchi. In 2013, he co-founded Infectious Advertising with Nisha Singhania. Ramanuj has received numerous Indian and international awards, including serving on the film jury at Cannes Lions 2010. With over 200 ad films to his credit, he has contributed to campaigns such as ‘Thanda Matlab Coca-Cola’, Saffola’s ‘Kal Se’, and OLX’s ‘Bech De’. He also served as a Jury Member for New York Festivals 2021.

The official deadline to enter the 2024 New York Festivals Advertising Awards is April 5, with a final closing deadline of April 26, 2024.

All entries into the 2024 NYF Advertising Awards competition will be judged by over 400 members of NYF’s Executive Jury and Grand Jury, a panel of global creative minds, who collectively cast votes to select the World’s Best Advertising.
