What is the one thing you like to do when not working?

I spend my free time doing two things: reading books and watching movies. This hobby helps me in two ways: it helps me learn more and boosts my creativity. When I read, I get to learn about different topics, which makes me better at thinking critically and solving problems. On the other hand, watching movies gives me interesting stories and new ways of looking at things that often spark fresh ideas for my business.

How do you spend your weekends?

We entrepreneurs often find ourselves in a unique situation where the concept of weekends doesn’t quite apply. Our workdays and weekends tend to blend together, and it can sometimes be challenging to distinguish one from the other. We place a high priority on our work, striving to complete our tasks and meet our business commitments efficiently.

Once we’ve fulfilled our work obligations, we cherish the opportunities to relax and unwind with our loved ones—family and friends who provide much-needed support and a sense of balance in our lives.

What are your favourite gadgets?

I mostly use my iPhone and my laptop, and don’t use too many gadgets.

Given an option to choose another career, what would it be?

If presented with the opportunity to select an alternative career path, I would opt for a career as a civil servant. The prospect of serving the public and contributing to the betterment of society through the implementation of policies and programs is highly appealing to me. This profession offers a unique platform to address critical societal issues, uphold the principles of justice and equity, and make a tangible impact on the lives of citizens. Moreover, the opportunity to work in a diverse and challenging environment, coupled with the sense of responsibility that comes with public service, aligns with my personal values and aspirations.

Which is your favourite vacation spot?

A year ago, I had the privilege of going on a trip to Spiti, a remote and incredibly beautiful region in the Indian Himalayas. During my trip, I got to explore a hidden and lesser-known gem near Tandi. This particular place had a lasting impact on me because of its exceptional natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere. The views were absolutely breathtaking, with tall snow-covered mountains, clean rivers, and green valleys. The calmness of the place was a stark contrast to the busy city life, making it a perfect spot for relaxation. I still vividly remember that place, and it reminds me of the unique charm of Spiti.

A TV show, a movie, and an ad campaign you highly recommend watching.

When it comes to TV shows, I like to watch programs that match my interests and allow my family to spend time together. Since I’m actively involved in a startup community, I’m really inspired by shows that focus on entrepreneurship and innovation. “Shark Tank India” is a top pick for me because it gives me useful information about startups and investing. It helps me learn from the experiences and ideas of new entrepreneurs. Also, for family bonding, we often watch “Kaun Banega Crorepati”. It not only challenges our intellect but also lets us compete in a friendly way, bringing the family closer.

When it comes to movies, I highly recommend “The Founder,” which tells the story of how McDonald’s became a big success. It teaches valuable lessons about business strategy and ambition. Additionally, “Guru,” this movie has a captivating story and shows the determination of an entrepreneur.

In the world of advertising, Zomato really impresses me with its creative and effective marketing strategies. They’re excellent at engaging customers and getting their brand message across. Watching these kinds of campaigns can give insights into the fast-paced advertising and marketing world, which can be especially helpful for those involved in startups.
