The Job
At the heart of my work is the desire to build something meaningful — something that lasts. At Dorby, we’re not just creating surface decor; we’re shaping how people experience spaces. Each day brings a new opportunity to rethink, refine, and raise the bar. I feel fortunate to lead a team that’s not only talented but genuinely committed to innovation and excellence.
The Weekdays
My weekdays are structured, but never repetitive. I like starting the day early with a bit of quiet planning time — it helps set the tone. I spend a good amount of time reviewing designs, product strategies, and meeting different teams.
The Weekend
Weekends are my time to disconnect and recharge. I try to avoid screens as much as possible. A long drive, a good meal with family, or a spontaneous plan with close friends — that’s my idea of a perfect weekend.
The Toys
I’m definitely someone who appreciates good tech — especially when it makes life smoother. I like the Apple ecosystem; it just works seamlessly. From my MacBook to my iPhone and even the occasional use of an iPad, everything’s in sync and intuitive.
It’s not about having the flashiest gadget — it’s about having tools that help me stay organised, save time, and focus better. That said, I still keep a notebook handy. As much as I enjoy tech, some ideas just flow better when scribbled down the old-school way.
The Logos
I’ve always had a soft spot for brands that blend functionality with quiet elegance. I admire global brands like Apple and Patagonia for their storytelling and design thinking.
Closer to home, I respect legacy Indian brands that have built trust over generations. That’s the kind of journey I see Dorby on — a brand that stays relevant not just through its products, but through its values.
