The nine-day Navratri festival has commenced today. The festival  will end on Saturday, October 12, 2024, with Dussehra (or Vijayadashami) being observed on the same day.

Amid this, banks will be observing holidays on several days.

Recently, the RBI announced the bank holidays for October 2024, which will include a total of 15 non-working days. This list features significant dates such as Gandhi Jayanti on October 2 (Wednesday) and various regional and state-specific holidays, including Navratri and Durga Puja, as declared by different state governments.
