The merger between Vistara and Air India is nearing completion, with Vistara scheduled to cease operations on November 11. Beginning September 3, 2024, Vistara announced that customers will no longer be able to book travel for dates on or after November 12, 2024. Following this date, all Vistara flights will be operated by Air India, and any existing or future bookings will be redirected to Air India’s website.
Initially a joint venture between the Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, Vistara will now be fully merged with Air India, another carrier owned by Tata.
Will your Vistara airport lounge access be revoked?
For travelers who purchased Vistara lounge access before November 11, 2024, their access remains valid as originally booked. However, for travel on or after November 11, 2024, lounge access will be handled by Air India. If you booked lounge access through Vistara for a flight now operated by Air India, a refund will be issued, and you will need to make a new booking through Air India.

Vistara’s loyalty program will be integrated into Air India’s Flying Returns program. Your existing Vistara loyalty points will be seamlessly transferred to Air India’s program with no loss in value.
