In a significant development for Odisha’s emerging industrial landscape, IndiGo is all set to start direct flight services between Jharsuguda and New Delhi. The move marks a pivotal moment for the region, promising enhanced connectivity and fostering economic growth in Odisha.
Scheduled to commence operations on May 15, 2024, the daily flights aim to cater to the growing demand for convenient and efficient travel options in and out of Jharsuguda.
Announcing the details, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) on X mentioned, “ IndiGo direct flight will soon be connecting Jharsuguda, the emerging industrial hub of Odisha to the National Capital. This new flight service will offer passengers a seamless travel experience and unlock newer opportunities in the region.”
Notably, AAI in close coordination with aviation stakeholders has been progressively unveiling a range of new flight routes to promise passengers an extensive network of flight connections and airline options.
