Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIAL), managed by Adani Airport Holdings, has leased 405 ready-to-move-in apartments at a residential complex in Panvel, Navi Mumbai.

NMIAL has signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mumbai-based Wadhwa Group to lease 405 flats at the latter’s township Wadhwa Wise City, Panvel, for airport staff and their families from October 2025, Wadhwa Group said.

Housing deal in Wadhwa Wise City

NMIAL has leased one, one-and-half and two bedroom apartments which it could buy at a later date, sources familiar with the development said.

Though Wadhwa Group did not share financial details of the deal, market sources said the price of a bulk deal of 400 apartments at the project could be around Rs 350 crore.

Airport launch and passenger capacity

The airport is set for inaugural launch on September 30. Spread across 450 acres in Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area (NAINA), Wadhwa Wise City is Navi Mumbai’s first and the largest integrated township project, with over 3,000 occupation certificate (OC)-ready units available.

The Navi Mumbai International Airport is expected to handle 20 million passengers annually in its first phase, ultimately scaling up to 90 million passengers per year.
