Amid escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, Air India on Wednesday (October 2) announced that it is conducting daily assessments of its flights for potential security or safety risks across its network while closely monitoring the situation.

“All our flights are assessed daily for any potential security or safety risks whether it is in the Middle East or any other part of our route network. Adjustments are made, if required, to avoid areas of risk with minimal impact on our non-stop operations. The situation is being monitored closely,” an Air India Official said in a statement.

The development comes amid fresh escalation in the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict after Iran reportedly launched a missile attack on Israel. In response to the escalating conflict, neighboring countries have also closed their airspace, prompting airline crews to navigate alternative routes.
