IndiGo has announced the launch of direct tri-weekly flights between Bengaluru and Deoghar in Jharkhand starting from June 1. According to a statement by the low-cost carrier, the direct flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. 

Flight number 6E 6435 will depart from Bengaluru at 10:05 am and arrive in Deoghar at 12:25 pm. The return flight, 6E 6437, will depart from Deoghar at 12:55 pm and arrive in Bengaluru at 3:25 pm.

This new route aims to improve connectivity from southern India to the famous religious destinations in Jharkhand, expanding IndiGo’s network. 

With these new flights, Bengaluru will be IndiGo’s fifth destination directly connected with Deoghar, joining Kolkata, Patna, Ranchi, and Delhi. 

Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, expressed pleasure at the announcement and said, “We are pleased to announce direct flights between Bengaluru and Deoghar.”

Malhotra added that the new flights will enhance accessibility, increase flight options, and improve connectivity for students and employment-seekers traveling across the region. 

The flight services will not only offer residents of Jharkhand access to Bengaluru’s IT hub but also to various tourist destinations in the region.

Deoghar: A spiritual hub and natural paradise

Deoghar is a city steeped in religious and cultural importance, renowned for housing the famous Baidyanath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, drawing millions of devotees annually. Additionally, the city boasts natural beauty, with its scenic hills, waterfalls, and forests.
