Delhi Airport: Despite escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) confirmed on Sunday that operations at Indira Gandhi International Airport are proceeding without disruption.
In a travel advisory issued to passengers, DIAL stated, “Delhi Airport operations continue to run smoothly.” However, it cautioned that evolving airspace conditions and heightened security measures mandated by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security may lead to changes in flight schedules and longer wait times at security checkpoints.
The advisory urged all passengers to stay in touch with their respective airlines for real-time updates, follow baggage regulations, and arrive at the airport well in advance to accommodate potential delays. “We strongly advise all passengers to depend exclusively on official updates for accurate information and to refrain from circulating unverified content,” the statement added.

Passengers are also encouraged to verify flight status through the official Delhi Airport website or their airline, and to cooperate fully with security and airline staff for smoother facilitation.
The advisory comes at a time of heightened alert following recent cross-border hostilities. Earlier, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) along with other relevant aviation bodies issued Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) to announce the temporary shutdown of 32 airports across Northern and Western India for all civil aviation operations.
Travelers using Delhi Airport are advised to remain vigilant, plan ahead, and rely on official communication channels for the latest information.
