Commercial flight operations at Kempegowda International Airport (KIAB) in Bangalore will be affected from February 5 to 14 due to the upcoming Aero India Show 2025.
In a passenger advisory issued by Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), it was stated that airspace closures for several hours each day during this period would impact commercial flights.
The air show, which will be held at the Air Force Station in Yelahanka, will lead to temporary disruptions at the airport.
“Due to airspace closures for a few hours each day from February 5 to 14, commercial flight operations at KIAB/BLR Airport will be impacted. This on account of the upcoming Aero India Show 2025 at the Air Force Station, Yelahanka,” the BIAL stated on Tuesday.
BIAL advised passengers to check with their airlines for updated flight schedules and plan their travel accordingly. Travelers were also urged to stay informed through travel advisories and to anticipate possible delays when commuting to and from the airport.
Aero India is a major event in India’s aerospace and defense sector, featuring global aerospace vendors and spectacular aerobatic displays by the Indian Air Force.
